Jabari Henley, son of rap figure and alleged gang leader Eugene "Big U" Henley, was fatally shot on Halloween night. The incident occurred around 11 PM at the intersection of 69th Street and Figueroa Street in South Los Angeles.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the 34-year-old victim approached a vehicle and was subsequently shot by an individual standing outside a smoke shop. The suspect fled the scene and has not been identified. Law enforcement officers were observed attempting life-saving measures at the scene, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Music mogul Luce Cannon, who is incarcerated with Big U, reported that he informed Big U of his son's death. Cannon stated that both he and Big U are heartbroken by the tragedy.
