Grassley's call follows a whistleblower complaint detailing an incident where a supervisor allegedly advised a business owner to create fake accounts and write fake reviews for her own business to improve her lead generation, suggesting the company's proposed solution to its failures was to encourage fraud. The business owner reported being charged for advertising services even after her business was removed from the site.
