Ryan Marzullo, a Delta Airlines managing director responsible for overseeing LaGuardia Airport's Terminal C renovation, was arrested on charges of criminal mischief and petit larceny. The charges stem from an incident on November 11th where Marzullo allegedly grabbed the keys of a 22-year-old motorist who was parked outside Terminal C.
Sources claim Marzullo identified himself as a Delta employee, reached into the motorist's Toyota, took the keys, and then threw them into a storm drain before driving away. Port Authority police identified Marzullo as the suspect, leading to a quiet arrest on Wednesday.
The arrest was reportedly coordinated to occur at Port Authority police headquarters, with officers instructed to stay away and refrain from taking photos as Marzullo surrendered. Marzullo has been issued a desk appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in court on December 8th.
