Sarah Forrester, a 55-year-old woman, was found dead at a house in Swindon following an incident on Friday evening. Police responded to reports of disorder at the property and discovered Ms.
Forrester not breathing. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 13-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident but has since been released on police bail. Ms.
Forrester was employed as a counselling coordination manager at The Kelly Foundation, a local mental health charity. The foundation described her as "heartbroken at the sudden loss of our lovely Sarah," noting her deep commitment to the charity and devotion to her two young children.
They emphasized her pivotal role and described her as kind, thoughtful, considerate, caring, and funny. Wiltshire Police confirmed that their major crime investigation team is leading the investigation into Ms.
Forrester's death. A heightened police presence remains in the area as inquiries continue.
Detective Chief Superintendent Guy Elkins stated that they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death and urged the public not to speculate. He encouraged anyone with concerns to contact their local neighbourhood policing team.
