Rockstar Games, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive, has announced that Grand Theft Auto VI's release has been postponed to November 19, 2026. This delay, from its previously planned spring 2026 window, is intended to allow developers more time to polish the game to meet player expectations. The company cited the need for additional development time to deliver a high-quality experience. The highly anticipated Grand Theft Auto VI, the successor to Grand Theft Auto V which has sold over 220 million units worldwide since its 2013 debut, is now slated for a late 2026 release.
