German tuner MTM has unveiled the Pangaea GT, a modified station wagon based on the Audi RS 6, capable of producing over 1,100 horsepower. This enhanced performance dramatically increases the car's output from the stock RS 6 Avant's 621 horsepower. The tuning significantly boosts the power of the 4.4-liter twin-turbo V-8 engine, though it suggests a shorter lifespan for the powertrain.
The Pangaea GT is designed for extreme performance, featuring 22-inch wheels, an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels, a lowered stance, and extensive use of carbon fiber both inside and out. The interior also includes Alcantara and racing seats for enhanced support during high-speed maneuvers. MTM describes the driving experience as "addictive."
In terms of performance, the Pangaea GT can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in under 2.6 seconds and reach a top speed of at least 217 mph, significantly outperforming the standard Audi RS 6.
