Kenney’s lawsuit follows Baldwin’s own legal action against New Mexico officials for malicious prosecution, in which Baldwin reiterated the theory that Kenney’s company accidentally included live rounds. Baldwin’s legal team had suggested Kenney was not investigated due to his status as a prosecution witness.
