Ana Paula Velloso Fernandes, 36, is under investigation for four murders in Brazil, including an alleged plot where she handed her ex-boyfriend, Ryder Maheris, a milkshake laced with poison. Investigators claim Fernandes and her twin sister, Roberta, faked a pregnancy to pressure Maheris into staying with her. When he ended the relationship, Fernandes allegedly bought and poisoned a milkshake, delivering it to his home. Maheris became violently ill and died shortly after.
Fernandes is accused of killing Marcelo Fonseco in January after moving in as a renter, and Maria Aparecida Rodrigues in April after meeting her on a dating app and having coffee at her home. She is also believed to have been hired by a classmate, Michele Paiva da Silva, to kill her father, Neil Correia da Silva, for a sum of money. The alleged murders took place between January and May 2025 in various locations across Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro states.
