A new psychological study of 61 nations has revealed that Nepal has the most nature-connected population, while Britain ranks among the worst. The research, which surveyed 57,000 people, found that factors such as spirituality, a sense of one's place in the living world, and strong relationships with other species contribute to higher nature connectedness. Conversely, the study indicated that a higher "ease of doing business," increased urbanization, higher mean income, and greater internet usage are linked to lower levels of nature connection.
