Black Sheep Egg Company is recalling its free-range large brown eggs due to salmonella contamination. The recall was initiated after 40 environmental samples from its processing facility tested positive for the bacteria.
The affected products are 12-count and 18-count Free Range Large Grade A Brown Eggs with UPC codes 860010568507 and 860010568538. These eggs were distributed to Arkansas and Missouri from July 9, 2025, to September 17, 2025. The FDA also notes that the eggs may have been distributed to other states, potentially impacting more locations. This is the second egg recall for salmonella contamination this month, following a recall by Kenz Henz.
