Celebrity vegan chef found guilty for murdering entire family on Christmas Day

Celebrity vegan chef Anthony Milan Ross has been found guilty of murdering his entire family on Christmas Day 2017. Ross, 53, shot and killed his wife Iris, 38, outside their Phoenix apartment complex. He then barricaded himself inside with their two young children, 11-year-old Nigel and 9-month-old Anora, who were later found dead. The motive for the brutal crime, prosecutors stated, was Iris Ross's decision to file for divorce six months prior to the massacre. Ross, who had gained some recognition for his vegan lifestyle and motivational weight-loss speeches, was reportedly reliant on his wife financially. Evidence presented during the trial included concerning internet searches Ross made for firearms and methods of murder, as well as searches for cases of families murdered on Christmas Day. He had also ominously warned others to "expect something big on Christmas." During a tense six-hour standoff with police, Ross initially claimed the children were alive and threatened to kill them. A robot deployed by the police eventually revealed the grim discovery of the children's bodies inside the apartment.
