An unprecedented radio image of the Milky Way's galactic plane has been created, requiring over 40,000 hours of construction time. This vast image, compiled from data from the GLEAM and GLEAM-X surveys using the Murchison Radio-astronomy Observatory, offers a unique perspective by using radio wavelengths to penetrate the dust and gas clouds that obscure visible light views of our galaxy.
