Multiple passengers were stabbed on a train approaching Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, on Saturday evening. Emergency services, including armed police, were dispatched to the scene after the East of England Ambulance Service received a call at 7:39 pm. Witnesses described scenes of panic and blood, with one estimating up to 12 people were treated for injuries.
Two suspects were arrested following the incident. Armed police engaged with one suspect who was reportedly waving a large knife, and it is believed a Taser was used in the apprehension. The train involved was the 6:25 pm service from Doncaster to London King’s Cross.
