These discussions allegedly included the possibility of firing CNN hosts, such as Erin Burnett and Brianna Keilar, who are reportedly not favored by President Donald Trump. These alleged conversations have reportedly made the White House "animated" about a potential deal between Paramount Skydance and Warner Bros.
Discovery. The White House's preference for a Paramount Skydance deal may be influenced by a previous $16 million settlement Paramount made with Trump after he sued the company for alleged deceptive editing of a 60 Minutes interview.
Despite his shareholder status, Larry Ellison reportedly does not hold a formal operational role in Paramount, with his son David Ellison running the company. Other potential bidders for Warner Bros.
