Arizona Dad Teen Daughter Unsurprised by His Suicide ... After He Left 2-Year-Old in Hot Car to Die

Christopher Scholtes, an Arizona father who pleaded guilty to murdering his 2-year-old daughter by leaving her in a hot car, died by suicide. His 17-year-old daughter, who was previously in the custody of Child Protective Services, was not surprised by his death and had a feeling it was coming, according to her former guardian, Lindsay Eisenberg. The teen plans to seek custody of her two younger sisters, who were living with Scholtes and his spouse, after she turns 18. Scholtes left his daughter, Parker, in his car for approximately three hours on a day when outside temperatures reached 109 degrees while he stayed inside his Marana home playing video games and watching pornography.
