Jack Doherty described his recent arrest and time spent in jail as the "worst day ever" due to the extreme boredom he experienced. He spent a total of fifteen hours incarcerated, beginning with five hours in a small cell with a police officer, followed by processing for mugshots and fingerprints.
He then endured another ten hours in a holding room, during which he was able to make phone calls. His ordeal continued with another stint in a cell, followed by a nap.
He was awakened by guards who informed him that TMZ had already published his mugshot before he was eventually released. Despite being arrested for possession of amphetamine and marijuana, Doherty stated that his plans to avoid further legal trouble do not include seeking drug treatment.
He also characterized the arrest as "stupid" and was able to post his own $3,500 bail.
