Christian Genwright, a 22-year-old man from Valley Stream, New York, was arrested in Queens on Tuesday night in connection with the vandalism of 11 NYPD vehicles. The incident occurred around 11 p.m. on Monday night in Jamaica, Queens, where officers from the 116th Precinct responded to reports of vandalism.
Upon arrival, officers discovered 11 marked and unmarked NYPD vehicles that had been damaged. The vehicles, which were parked and unoccupied at the time, sustained damage including broken windshields, shattered side mirrors, and damaged tires, with one police car's rear window appearing completely shattered and another unmarked vehicle having a hole pierced through its windshield. The NYPD stated the damage was caused by an unknown object.
