Iowa State player carted off, hospitalized after collapsing to field from brutal hit

Iowa State tight end Benjamin Brahmer was carted off the field and hospitalized after collapsing following a brutal hit during a game against Arizona State. Brahmer was attempting to walk off the field after a hard tackle from Arizona State's Keith Abney II when he lost his balance and fell. He remained conscious while being transported off the field. Iowa State head coach Matt Campbell stated that Brahmer was hospitalized as a precautionary measure and that his outlook is positive.
