An Aston Villa fan was removed from an EasyJet flight by Spanish police on December 28th due to disruptive behavior. Passengers reported that the man, wearing an Aston Villa shirt, was drinking cans of Stella and shouting about Birmingham while on the plane bound for Bristol from Arrecife Airport.
He was seen chanting and running around with beer cans during check-in. The disruptive passenger was escorted off the packed flight by five Spanish police officers before departure.
A video from the plane showed him arguing with officers and cabin crew, swearing, and shouting before being removed. A witness described hearing chants about returning to Birmingham and seeing cabin crew on the phone.
EasyJet confirmed the incident, stating that the passenger was removed due to disruptive behavior and that the airline prioritizes the safety and wellbeing of its customers and crew, with no tolerance for such actions. The flight subsequently continued to its destination.
