Emergency services responded to a significant house fire in Stroud on Boxing Day, with initial reports indicating three people were unaccounted for. The blaze occurred on Brimscombe Hill, prompting a response from police, paramedics, and firefighters.
One individual successfully escaped the property and was transported to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment. However, three other individuals, believed to have been inside the residence at the time of the fire, remain missing, and efforts to locate them are actively underway.
Police have stated that an investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing. Local authorities have advised the public to avoid the Brimscombe Hill area to allow emergency crews to work unimpeded.
