Singer D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, is reportedly being considered a suspect in the death of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Her body was discovered in the trunk of a Tesla registered to D4vd in a Los Angeles impound lot in early September after a foul odor was reported.
While D4vd has not been officially charged or named a suspect, reports indicate he is being investigated and has not been cooperative. Hernandez was last seen in April 2024 and authorities believe she had been deceased for several weeks prior to her body being found.
Her cause of death remains undetermined. Investigators are reportedly confident they are pursuing the correct suspect.
The LAPD executed a search warrant at D4vd's residence in September. Hernandez's family is devastated by her death.
Her brother stated that the family was aware of the connection between Hernandez and D4vd, and that she disappeared while on her way to see a movie with him. D4vd gained popularity on TikTok for his music, with hits like "Romantic Homicide" and "Here With Me."
