Strictly Come Dancing contestant Amber Davies has spoken out about the negative reactions online after Lewis Cope was eliminated from the show. Davies and Cope ended up in the bottom two based on public votes on Sunday, December 7. Following a dance-off, the judges chose to save Davies and her partner, Nikita Kuzmin.
During an appearance on "It Takes Two" on Wednesday, December 10, Davies addressed the backlash, with one viewer calling Cope's elimination the "biggest robbery in Strictly history." Davies admitted that while she is trying to develop a "thick skin," this particular week has been more challenging than usual. She also pointed out that she was a "quick replacement" and is simply doing her best.
