Emergency services, including police, paramedics, and fire crews, swiftly responded to a dramatic car crash on Great Ancoats Street in Manchester city centre. The incident involved an MG 4x4 vehicle that narrowly avoided colliding with the Wayfarer bar, located on the corner of Oldham Street. Instead, the car crashed into a row of metal railings outside the establishment, leaving its front bumper smashed and debris scattered across the pavement.
A police cordon was established around the scene to manage the situation. The single-vehicle collision is believed to have occurred due to a suspected medical episode experienced by the driver. The driver was subsequently transported to the hospital. Greater Manchester Police confirmed that no arrests were made in connection with the incident.
