Michael Barrymore, 73, got into a heated argument with a London shopkeeper over the purchase of cigarettes. Barrymore was refused when he asked to buy four packets of Silk Cut purple, as the shopkeeper stated a law prohibited selling more than two packets at a time. Barrymore, who stated he had recently purchased five packets elsewhere without issue, became incensed and accused the staff of "making up a new law."
