Former Major League Baseball pitcher Yoervis Medina has died at the age of 37. He reportedly suffered a heart attack while driving in Naguanagua, Venezuela, causing him to crash into parked cars.
Medina's former minor league team, the Everett AquaSox, confirmed his passing. He pitched in MLB for the Seattle Mariners from 2013 to 2015, appearing in 146 relief innings with a career ERA of 3.08.
