The attack was interrupted when a passing student heard the victim's cries for help. The student chased Hudson down, and with the help of another passer-by, restrained him until police arrived. The victim described the experience as terrifying, stating she believed she was going to be killed and had seen "evil." She has since suffered panic attacks and changed her routines due to fear.
