A loaded gun magazine containing ten hollow-point rounds was discovered on a Frontier Airlines flight at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta. The magazine, marked with the initials "KH," was found by a passenger near seat 7A around 4:30 p.m. on a Sunday, prior to the aircraft's return flight to Cincinnati.
The discovery prompted a multi-agency investigation involving the Atlanta Police Department, TSA, DOA, Frontier Airlines, the Department of Homeland Security, and Atlanta Police K-9 units. The aircraft was deplaned, thoroughly searched, and all passengers were re-screened by the TSA. No other items of concern were found, and the flight ultimately departed safely later that evening.
