Numerous credible reports, including those from international commissions, have documented war crimes, crimes against humanity, and ethnic cleansing in Tigray and other regions of Ethiopia. These violations have been perpetrated by Ethiopian and Eritrean forces, as well as allied militia groups, and have included deliberate killings, indiscriminate attacks on civilians, sexual violence with the intent to destroy the Tigrayan ethnicity, and forced displacement.
