The email, released by the House Oversight Committee, referenced photos of Donald Trump "blowing Bubba." Mark Epstein stated that "Bubba" is a private individual and not a public figure, and that the exchange was a humorous private message between brothers not intended for public release.
The email in question, sent by Mark Epstein in March 2018, asked Jeffrey to inquire if Trump's former chief strategist had photos of Trump "blowing Bubba." Mark Epstein described the exchange as a "humorous private exchange" and not a serious remark. Despite the viral attention and ongoing scrutiny of Trump's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein, Mark Epstein declined to provide further context.
In response to the attention, a White House deputy press secretary dismissed the emails as a "hoax" and a distraction, while Donald Trump himself stated he "doesn't care" about the release of the documents. Trump also accused Democrats of using the Epstein files to deflect from other issues and announced he would ask the Attorney General to investigate Jeffrey Epstein's relationships with various individuals and institutions, including Bill Clinton.
Bill Clinton's office has previously stated he has had no contact with Epstein in nearly 20 years and knows nothing about his crimes.
