Andrew Tate made his professional boxing debut against Chase DeMoor in Dubai, headlining the Misfits "Fight Before Christmas" card. DeMoor, who is the reigning Misfits heavyweight champion, secured a victory over Tate via a split decision. The fight, which consisted of six rounds, saw Tate, a former four-time kickboxing world champion, return to combat sports after a decade-long retirement due to eye injuries.
Throughout the bout, Tate started strong in the initial rounds but appeared to tire as the fight progressed. DeMoor, conversely, grew into the fight, landing significant shots in the later rounds, including uppercuts and powerful punches that visibly affected Tate, who suffered a cut on his eye. Despite Tate's resilience and determination to continue, DeMoor's sustained offensive pressure led to the judges' decision. One judge scored the bout a draw at 57-57, while the other two judges scored it 58-56 in favor of DeMoor, who retained his title. After the fight, Tate acknowledged his decade-long layoff and 40 years of age as contributing factors to his performance, stating he would review the fight before deciding on a potential return. DeMoor, following his victory, called out Tommy Fury for a future bout.
