Fired Earth, a luxury homeware chain specializing in premium tiles and interior design products, has collapsed into administration, leading to the closure of all 26 of its UK branches. The company, founded in 1983, was unable to overcome ongoing trading losses despite generating £15 million in annual turnover. This financial distress resulted in 133 staff redundancies, with only the head office and warehouse in Banbury remaining operational to fulfill existing customer orders. Administrators were appointed on October 31st, citing that shareholders had supported the company for the past three years in an effort to return it to profitability, but were unwilling to provide further funding due to continued losses.
