House Oversight Committee Democrats have released a new collection of photos from Jeffrey Epstein's estate, aiming to pressure the Department of Justice to release its files on the convicted sex offender by a congressionally mandated deadline. The undated and uncaptioned images include close-ups of words written on a woman's body, referencing passages from Vladimir Nabokov's novel "Lolita," such as "She was Lo, plain Lo, in the morning, standing four feet ten in one sock" on a foot and "She was Dolores on the dotted line" on a back.
Other released photos show Bill Gates with a redacted face, Noam Chomsky on a plane with Epstein, Woody Allen, Steve Bannon, and David Brooks. The batch also contains images of redacted foreign and US passports, and a text message conversation suggesting the arrangement of young women for payment.
Democrats stated that these releases are intended to provide transparency and raise further questions about the DOJ's possession of information, urging the release of the "Epstein Files" immediately.
