Judge calls alleged conditions at Chicago-area immigration site ‘disgusting’

A federal judge described alleged conditions at a Chicago-area immigration facility as "disgusting" during a hearing on a lawsuit accusing the government of mistreating detainees. The lawsuit claims immigrants were denied adequate food, water, and medical care, and coerced into signing documents that led to their deportation without understanding their rights.
