A significant fire erupted at a retail park in Southall, west London, this morning around 9 am. Approximately 150 firefighters and 25 fire engines are currently at the scene on Bridge Road, battling the blaze.
The fire has engulfed about three-quarters of a two-storey building that houses both a warehouse and retail space. Thick smoke from the fire is visible for miles, prompting advice from the London Fire Brigade for local residents to keep their doors and windows closed.
The cause of the fire remains unknown at this time. Emergency services have responded to over 50 calls reporting the incident, with crews dispatched from Southall, Heston, Ealing, and surrounding fire stations.
The fire is also causing traffic disruptions in the vicinity as emergency responders work to control the situation.
