No injuries were reported in connection with the tornado. The severe weather resulted in significant damage, with roofs torn off some homes and debris blocking roads.
Emergency crews, including the Houston Fire Department's saw team, were deployed to clear fallen trees. A tornado watch was in effect for southeastern Texas, including Houston, until early Tuesday morning, alongside a severe thunderstorm warning for some areas.
