He now describes the Ferretti vision as "serene and progressive," emphasizing discretion and the allure of mystery over overt display.
The collection focuses on a blend of reserved and sensual femininity. Serafini utilizes double-cashmere capes that offer both comfort and understated elegance.
He also introduces fluid tailoring, presenting "daytime pajamas" in crisp wool as an alternative to traditional suits, designed to be worn with a relaxed, chic ease. A key element of the collection is the introduction of "manta dresses," named for their flowing, liquid movement akin to manta rays.
These bias-cut dresses, made from materials like envers satin and dévoré velvet, are designed to trace the body sensuously while remaining easy to move in and maintaining an element of mystery. Serafini intends for these garments to respect the body and embody "radical discretion," where seduction lies in intentional self-revelation rather than explicit display.
