Horror as British jockey suffers catastrophic injuries in sickening fall during race in France

British jockey Felix De Giles, 36, suffered catastrophic injuries during a hurdle race at Auteuil in France. He broke both legs and an arm, fractured his femur, and dislocated his hip when his horse, Sunny Swing, took an extra stride and flipped at the fourth obstacle. De Giles was conscious throughout the incident and immediately understood the severity of his injuries.
