Alan Carr has confessed that his past relationships have left him feeling "walked over" and have made it difficult for him to trust people now. During a conversation with his friend Amanda Holden on their BBC show *Amanda & Alan's Greek Job*, the comedian, 49, reflected on his divorce and past experiences.
He expressed regret for not being "bolder" or "stronger" in previous situations, admitting that trust is his biggest hurdle when it comes to meeting new people. Carr was married to Paul Drayton for three years, but their 14-year relationship ended in divorce in 2022. The couple announced their separation in January 2022, stating they had amicably decided to divorce.
Drayton later revealed he had entered rehab for alcoholism, acknowledging a challenging period that included a guilty plea for a drink-driving charge.
