Amazon now allows customers to use Apple Pay for purchases, offering a new payment option for Black Friday and Cyber Monday shoppers. While not all vendors on Amazon accept Apple Pay, it can be used where available.
To use Apple Pay, users must first set it up on their iPhone by adding a debit or credit card to their Wallet app. Then, when checking out on the Amazon app and the vendor accepts Apple Pay, it will appear as a payment option.
Users select Apple Pay, confirm their details, and authenticate the purchase using Face ID or Touch ID. For vendors that do not directly accept Apple Pay, users can use their Apple Card as a workaround.
First, ensure the Apple Card is added to the iPhone's Wallet app. Then, navigate to the Amazon app, go to Account, then Your Account, and select Your Payments.
Under the Wallet tab, add the Apple Card as a credit or debit card. Once added, purchases made through this method will utilize the Apple Card.
Availability of Apple Pay depends on individual sellers enabling it as a payment option.
